Our inks begin with street-harvested materials, gathered and made by hand with attention to place, season, and ecology. Each batch carries something of where it came from. Variation is part of its character.
From Toronto to Berlin, New York, Paris, Los Angeles, and Japan, our inks have travelled through the hands of artists, illustrators, and experimenters, even aboard a National Geographic icebreaker in the Arctic.
Living colours.
These are colours to explore, not colours that stand still. Their subtle tones may shift over time and fade with exposure to UV light. Use them with a dip pen or brush, on their own or alongside other water-based colours.
